These pages are public and need no sign-up, and they will grow along with the SDK. If something you need is missing, please email us and we will be glad to document it.
Each recording is stored as a session. A session contains continuous channel streams (biopotential, IMU, temperature) sharing one monotonic clock, plus a metadata block (device, firmware, electrode set, and the animal identifier you supply). Timestamps are attached at the moment of acquisition, so they stay accurate whenever you export.
| Biopotential | 4 channels from the ADS1299-4 front-end, each against a common reference. ECG or EMG per channel, software-selectable. 24-bit; front end 250 SPS to 16 kSPS, recording rate set in software. |
|---|---|
| Motion | BMI270 6-axis IMU, synchronised to the biopotential clock. |
| Temperature | Continuous, synchronised. |
| Impedance | Per-channel contact impedance is logged alongside the signal, so recordings carry their own quality annotation. |
There are two ways to get your data. You can stream live over Bluetooth Low Energy into your own capture code, or record on the device and export sessions in batches. Exports use open, documented formats, and converters are in development. You do not need a cloud account to access raw data.
The formats are specified: BDF for archived sessions and LSL for streaming. The package itself is still in development, so there is no install command yet. We will add one here as soon as it is ready.
The SDK is free, and every lab uses the same single version. We will let every registered lab know about any breaking change before it is released. If you have a support question, please write to us directly; we built the SDK ourselves and are happy to help.
