The kit has everything you need to start recording: a four-channel 24-bit board in an enclosure, a six-lead set, 40 silicone mount pieces, 40 snap holders, 12 gold-cup electrodes, a jar of paste and a placement card, all in a case. The board sits on the bench for wired work or in a vest pocket for wireless recording, and never on the head. For research use only.
The holders seat any standard 10 mm gold cup on a 1.5 mm DIN lead, so you are welcome to use the ones you already have as well. Please see which electrodes fit.

We have validated EMG, ECG and EEG on awake, unshaved cats. Validation and signal processing papers are in preparation and under submission, all written together with a PhD researcher in a University of Cambridge biosignal lab. We'd be glad to send a raw sample recording with its impedance log on request (please see validation).
