Software

SDK and data access

The SDK is free, and everyone who has a board receives the same version. It gives you the raw channels with their timestamps and the per-channel impedance log, so you can run your own analysis in the way that suits your work.

Formats

We use two open formats. BDF is the file format for archived recordings: one file per session, 24-bit, readable by MNE and most EEG toolboxes. LSL is the stream for live work: the board's channels appear as a Lab Streaming Layer outlet, so you can record them alongside video or behavioural coding tools on the same clock.

What is ready and what is in progress

The formats are specified, and the tooling that writes them is in development. There is no installable package yet, so we cannot offer an install command today. Founding labs receive each part of the tooling as soon as it is ready, along with a direct line to us if anything goes wrong.

CostFree. There are no tiers and no licence.
Channels4 biopotential channels against a common reference, 24-bit; front end 250 SPS to 16 kSPS, recording rate set in software. 6-axis motion. Temperature. Per-channel impedance.
